CWY and YCI’s EQWIP HUBs project collaborative approach delivers relevant employment and entrepreneurial training developed with a global collective to allow youth to take control of their lives.

Employability Program

The Employability Program will help you to learn about your unique skills and abilities, and how to use those skills to find a job. Through the comprehensive 3 month program you will be provided an opportunity to practice the skills that local job markets are seeking, and gain the confidence to find and secure employment. The program has been designed in collaboration with local industry in each region to ensure the skills and lessons are relevant.

Entrepreneurship Program

Do you dream of launching your own business, but need help making it a reality? The EQWIP HUBs Entrepreneurship program will deliver the skills, knowledge, networks and support needed to transform an idea into a functioning business.

You will explore local market opportunities, and develop a business plan to match your skills and passions. Your world will expand with links to peer mentors, business development support, and opportunities to apply for a grant from the Youth Innovation Fund for business startup. The Entrepreneurship program is highly competitive.

Tertiary Training

EQWIP HUBs are shaped by local youth, and our programs respond to what you want to learn.

The Tertiary Training is a series of smaller courses that respond to local youth needs at each EQWIP HUBs, by providing a platform to practice the skills and abilities young people want to gain to strengthen their own livelihoods. Tertiary Training courses may include introductions to entrepreneurship, financial literacy and personal budgeting, networking, digital literacy and collaborative/group business.
