The EQWIP HUBs Program Advisor will work with staff and local partner organizations to develop and strengthen the project platforms that support youth to access employment and business opportunities. You will have the chance to collaborate with the EQWIP HUBs Network to identify and develop solutions to overcome local barriers to employment and entrepreneurship.
As the Program Advisor, you will provide support to the EQWIP HUBs team in delivering services at the HUB and engaging new partners in the project. You have a passion for youth engagement, peer-to-peer learning and developing new initiatives.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Assist with conducting research to support HUB program delivery activities;
- Assist with identification and engagement of potential partners to support project activities;
- Support the development and functioning of the EQWIP HUBs Network and Initiative Advisory Team, including development of guidelines, terms of reference, and orientation material;
- Assist with developing processes and procedures for implementation of the Innovation Fund;
- Additional responsibilities and tasks will be assigned according to needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
- Background in social science, development studies, administration, program management or related field.
- Demonstrated research skills.
- Experience working with youth focused programs.
- Ability to gather and communicate information to a range of audiences.
- Experience with networking or outreach is considered an asset.
