The EQWIP HUBs IT Advisor will work with staff and local partner organizations to develop and strengthen the project platforms that support youth to access employment and business opportunities. You will have the chance to collaborate with the EQWIP HUBs Network to identify and develop solutions to overcome local barriers to employment and entrepreneurship.

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Support local staff in building their capacity to do more advanced IT work;
• Supports youth participants in computer learning exercises;
• Provide support in the delivery of technology focused modules and activities;
• Seek new opportunities for using technology in program activities within the training curriculums;
• Supports online learning modules and online communities;
• Additional responsibilities and tasks will be assigned as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education in IT, computer science and information technology.
• 1-2 years experience conducting IT/computer network assessments.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Knowledge of web development, internet collaboration tools, content management system.
• Familiar with, or willingness to be trained on Microsoft Office 365 & SharePoint.
• Experience Facilitating & Training.
• Experience with blended learning and e-learning an asset.
