The EQWIP HUBs Graphic Designer will work with staff and local partner organizations to develop and strengthen the project platforms that support youth to access employment and business opportunities. You will have the chance to collaborate with the EQWIP HUBs Network to identify and develop solutions to overcome local barriers to employment and entrepreneurship.
As the Graphic Designer, you will have a passion for youth focused programs, peer-to-peer learning, communications and marketing, graphic design and brand standards.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Work with the partner organization to create a digital management/filing system for existing marketing and communication materials;
- Assess current marketing materials and recommend changes/improvements to the brand standards and/or collateral;
- Work on adapting, creating and printing/producing high-quality, branded communication and marketing materials;
- Develop and provide training to partner staff in basic graphic design and marketing principles;
- Support other communications/marketing requirements as required including: brand development and monitoring, videography and copywriting;
- Additional responsibilities and tasks will be assigns as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Background/education in communications, marketing or graphic design.
- Expertise with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) and other design-related software.
- 2-4 years experience developing on-brand communication materials required.
- Experience with production and/or project management required.
- Copywriting, photography and videography skills considered an asset.
- Deadline driven with strong organizational and planning skills.
