EQWIP HUBs provides life changing volunteer opportunities for young Canadians. You’ll work in partnership with like-minded youth from the developing world and share a transformative experience while gaining the kind of job skills that open doors.
Through EQWIP HUBs you will join world-renowned leaders in global development, Canada World Youth and Youth Challenge International, to be part of a global network of collaborators to create an innovative approach for young women and men to grow into their full potential. By working together with peers from the developing world – we can create a better future for all.
As an EQWIP HUBs volunteer, we cover many of your costs and provide a monthly stipend.
We cover your costs
For the duration of your volunteer position, you will receive a modest monthly allowance to help cover daily costs of living including accommodation, meals, transportation and communication.
You contribute to the Youth Innovation Fund
We believe that everyone has a role to play in helping young women and men reach their full potential. Successful applicants are required to make a one-time contribution* to the Youth Innovation Fund. Supported in-part by UN-Habitat, the Youth Innovation Fund provides seed grants for budding entrepreneurs at EQWIP HUBs around the globe. This unique initiative includes criteria to advance opportunities for young women and address environmental sustainability. The one-time contribution required for long term volunteer positions is $3,900.00, and for short term volunteer positions is $2,950.00.

What does EQWIP HUBs Cover?

The power of crowdfunding
Raising your contribution is made simple with our online crowdfunding platform. Successful applicants receive a customizable crowdfunding page where descriptions, videos and images can be uploaded. From there simply share your page through social media and e-mail, and watch how quickly your contribution is raised. We will take care of online payments, and all contributions over $20 will receive a donation receipt for Canadian tax deductions.
